Congratulations superb performance! Can I ask one question. TV coverage picked up on the red spot on your glove, how does this help you in your pre shot routine? All the Best Steve

Hi Steve, I place the red dot on my glove glove to help me remain focused. This was my trigger point to get back in focus. When there is chaos all around you my mind can wander off and I struggle to get back to the present so looking at the red dot was my trigger to get up there and hit the shot. The technique was sorted for my by Karl Morris who is a sports psychologist - it worked a treat! Cheers Louis.

Hi Elsa, it all worked out real well! So many people have asked about my caddy! His name is Zack Rasego and he's caddied for me for seven years now! He's 48 and lives near Sun City and first caddied for me at Atlantic Beach in the Open qualifier back in 04 and we got through and went to Troon! So it all goes on from there! He's caddied for Gary Player and Chip Beck in the Million Dollar and is a good guy! All the best, Louis.

Who's was man on the Bag during the Open? Must be from Natal because he handed you a Banana instead of Biltong! Seriously though, you had so many people to thank, you did not mention him, but he seems to have clubbed you 100% and dealt with the whole occasion very well. From Fancourt, no doubt?

Hi Inus, Zack's actually from Sun City! He did a great job but Biltong's a bit tricky to find in Scotland so we had to make do with bananas! I had so many people to thank and I just plain forgot - but he forgave me! All the best, Louis.

Congrats all over the place! I really liked how your first words in your acceptance speech was to wish Nelson Mandela a happy birthday. I also noticed how your Caddy of 7 years remained so composed, collected and calm throughout the whole thing. You are both a class act! What a great team you make. Does this win change your tour schedule now?

Hi Erik, thanks so much for the message - it was certainly a fantastic day for me and also for Zack as well! Never to be forgotten. My schedule is pretty much the same - I play in Scandinavia this week and then a bit of time off and I'll now be playing in the Bridgestone Invitational in Akron - I guess that's about the only change.
