This week Louis plays in the 139th Open Championship at the Old Course, St Andrews. This will be Louis' 4th apperance in the Championship.

Louis shot a magnificent 65 in the first round on Thursday and followed that up with a 67 on Friday morning after a 06.41 tee off time. These two great scores put him on twelve under par after two rounds.

On Saturday Louis played in the final group alongside Mark Calcavecchia and carded a 69. His only blemish came with a bogey at the opening hole - he made birdies at the 7th, 9th, 16th and 18th, and is on a total of fifteen under par and takes a four shot lead going into the last round.

He plays in the final group in the final round alongside England's Paul Casey who is four shots back on eleven under par.
