Louis played in the Celtic Manor Wales Open near Newport in Gwent, over the 2010 Course, the venue for the Ryder Cup later this year.

Louis put together rounds of 72, 72, 70 and 68 to finish on two under par and in a tie for 20th. Graeme McDowell won the event on fifteen under par after a sizzling 63 in the final round.

Louis now takes a week off before travelling to the USA for the US Open at Pebble Beach in California.
