Louis played in the flagship event of the European Tour, the BMW PGA Championship contested over the recently altered Wentworth Club in Surrey.

Louis shot rounds of 73 and 75 giving him a total of 148 and six over par, missing the halfway cut which fell at three over par. The winner of the event was England's Simon Khan on six under par.

The next tournament for Louis is the Madrid Masters next week.
