Louis played in the WGC - HSBC Champions at Sheshan International Golf Club in Shanghai and finished in a tie for 72nd on thirteen over par. The event was won by Italy's Francesco Molinari on nineteen under par, just one shot ahead of ISM stablemate and current World Number One, Lee Westwood.

Louis shot rounds of 67, 80, 80 and 72 and is still nursing his ankle injury for which he has to wear a brace whilst playing. Louis now takes two weeks off for further rehab before the season ending finale, the Dubai World Championship which begins on 25th November.
