Lay Off For Louis

Louis has been forced to withdraw from the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in Scotland and also from the PGA Grand Slam of Golf in Bermuda which was due to start on 18th October.

The PGA Grand Slam of golf is contested by the four major winners of the year and although Graeme McDowell and Martin Kaymer take their places in the field, Phil Mickelson has been replaced by Ernie Els and Louis by David Toms.

Louis turned on his ankle while he was in South Africa for Charl Schwartzel's wedding. He was doing some hunting during the trip and stepped in a pothole and damaged the ligaments in his left ankle.

So it's going to be the fairways of Sheshan International in China next,  where Louis will be playing in the WGC - HSBC Champions tournament which begins on 4th November.
