Not only did a G400 LST driver contribute to the win, three PING pros finished insidethe top 12 and there were several positive PING story lines coming out of the Masters. Bubba Watson earned a T5 and displayed the big distance and laser-sharp accuracy of a two-time champion. He led the field in greens in regulation at 77.78%, hitting 56 of 72. With his G400 LST, he was T2 in driving accuracy at 83.93% (47/56), and was 3rd in average driving distance at 303.75 yards. Playing in his first Masters, Tony Finau, after dislocating his ankle celebrating his hole-in-one during the par-3 contest on Wednesday (and popping it back into place himself), gutted out a T10 on a badly bruised and swollen ankle, earning an automatic invite to next year’s Masters. In fact, he saved his low round for last, firing a 66 on Sunday. Louis Oosthuizen, a PING Apparel Ambassador, played all four rounds under par and will be back in 2019 year after finishing T12.
