World #6 Bubba Watson comes into this week’s WGC Bridgestone Invitational with a strong track record in WGC events. He was second at the Bridgestone last year, he won the HSBC Champions in China in 2014, has two more second-place finishes, a T2, a third, and a fourth since 2011 at the four WGC tournaments worldwide.
Joining him in the field is Louis Oosthuizen, who was runner-up at this year’s prestigious WGC Dell Match Play in March. David Lingmerth is playing in his first WGC event, having qualified based on his world ranking inside the top 50. Young-Han Song, who won on the Asian Tour in January, is also making his WGC debut.
